Event tickets: types, quotas and capacity

Define ticket types with their own price and quota, record the tickets sold to each attendee and mark the payment status — and the platform won't let you sell beyond capacity.

In short: 4myevents keeps track of tickets; it does not sell them online. For each event you create several ticket types — for example Standard, VIP or Early Bird — each with its own price and quota. When someone buys or books, your team records the name, email, phone, ticket type, quantity and amount, then marks the payment status: unpaid, paid or refunded. The actual collection happens through your own channels (bank transfer, cash at the door, your payment processor); 4myevents does not process payments, does not issue QR-code tickets and has no public checkout. What it does guarantee is that you never sell more places than you have: limits per event and per ticket type are locked safely.

  • Several ticket types per event, each with its own price and quota.
  • Tickets sold are recorded per attendee: quantity, amount, notes.
  • Payment status marked by the team: unpaid, paid or refunded.
  • Overselling protection: neither a ticket type's quota nor the event capacity can be exceeded.
  • Currency set per event.
  • Reports: tickets sold, revenue from paid registrations, occupancy.

Ticket types with price and quota

A conference may have Standard, VIP and Early Bird tickets; a concert may have general admission and boxes. In 4myevents you create as many types as an event needs, each with its own price and quota. Switching from Early Bird to the standard price does not happen automatically by date — you decide it by closing one type and leaving the other open.

Recording tickets sold and payments

Each sale is recorded per attendee: name, email, phone, ticket type, quantity, amount and notes. The team marks the payment status — unpaid, paid or refunded — once the money has come in or been returned through your channels. 4myevents does not move money: it does not charge cards, does not issue automatic refunds and does not issue invoices. If you need invoices, you issue them separately, for example in 4invoices.

No overselling, even with several colleagues at work

The worst situation at an event is having more attendees than places. On every registration 4myevents checks both the ticket type's quota and the event's total capacity, with safe inventory locking. If two colleagues register the last place at the same time, only one succeeds.

Sales and occupancy reports

The dashboard shows tickets sold, revenue calculated from registrations marked as paid, occupancy and the latest registrations. You quickly see which ticket type is close to its limit and how much is still to be collected from attendees whose payment is not confirmed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell tickets online with card payment through 4myevents?

No. 4myevents has no public checkout and does not process payments. You collect through your own channels, and in 4myevents you record the tickets sold and mark the payment as paid, unpaid or refunded.

Can I have several ticket types (Standard, VIP, Early Bird)?

Yes. Each event can have several ticket types, each with its own price and quota. There is no automatic Early Bird price switch by date; you close that type yourself.

What happens when a ticket type's quota runs out?

The platform no longer accepts registrations for that type. Likewise, it does not allow the event's total capacity to be exceeded, even when several colleagues work at the same time.

How do I handle a cancellation or a refund?

Return the money through the channel you collected it with, then mark the registration as refunded and, if needed, set its status to cancelled. 4myevents does not issue automatic refunds.

Does 4myevents send QR-code tickets to attendees?

No. 4myevents does not issue PDF or QR-code tickets and does not send emails. Check-in is done from the attendee list with one click.

Frequently asked questions about the 4myevents platform

What is 4myevents?

A web panel for the organizing team: you manage events, venues, ticket types, attendees, the agenda and check-in, with real-time reports. It is not a public ticket-selling platform.

Can I sell tickets online with 4myevents?

No. 4myevents does not process payments and has no checkout. You collect through your own channels and mark each attendee's payment in 4myevents as unpaid, paid or refunded.

Do attendees receive an automatic confirmation?

No. 4myevents does not send emails or text messages. For notifications you can use 4notify separately, a product of the 4b2b ecosystem.

How does check-in at the event work?

From the attendee list you press the check-in button next to the name; the status becomes checked in and the time is saved. No QR codes are scanned.

What reports does it offer?

The number of events and their split by status, capacity, registrations, tickets sold, revenue from paid registrations, check-ins, check-in rate and occupancy.

Does 4myevents integrate with invoicing or CRM?
